Our maltese-poodle puppy loves to chew and tear his toys apart. He usually chews through his stuffed toys pretty quickly so he can take out the stuffing and eat it, but this toy has held up to all of his chewing and more. This duck only has stuffing in the extremities and the body has a squeaker. Plus, it came with a couple extra squeakers so we can replace if needed. So far, it's lasted for 4 months and is still in one piece, which I can't say for his dogit toys! another great toy from kong! We got the frog as well, but he's managed to eat the hair off its head already...but the rest of the frog is in great condition.

At first my 5 month old Jackaranian didn't want anything to do with the duck. But as soon as we got her acquainted with it, she started loving it. She plays with it on her own now. It is very small, about 6 inches long.

Never thought I'd do a review on a doggy toy...but, this is by far our dogs favorite toy!! If we can't find the dog we just squeak it a few times and it comes running!!! The toy is extremely durable as the dog literally attacks this thing and it has yet to rip. The squeaker still works after many months of daily use and even comes with a replacement squeaker in case the first one breaks. This is a recommended buy and you can't beat the price.

My eight month old/twelve pound Dachshund Frankie destroyed this small Kong platy duck and small Kong teddy bear (both reviewing as durable) in approximately forty five minutes. The small size was more like an extra small. I did not understand the point of the additional squeaker or what Kong expected me to do with a few chewed up pieces of cloth and some fuzz. The Kong teddy bear lasted a bit longer than the Kong platy duck did though.

Great toy for smaller dogs. I gave one of these to ours neighbors dog and it quickly became one of his favorites. Very durable and can be machine washed. Good investment for your K9 friends.
